The Roads Policing Unit is taking a zero-tolerance approach to dangerous driving, ensuring both racing fans and residents stay safe during this iconic two-week celebration.

Safety Operations in Full Swing

The Roads Policing Unit has made 25 arrests so far during the festival period, with four individuals clocked driving at more than twice the speed limit. Officers have also conducted 22 roadside breath tests and carried out 11 drug wipes as part of their comprehensive safety campaign. These figures reflect the police's commitment to maintaining order during one of the world's most famous motorcycle racing events.
