Support a vital cause while enjoying art, wine, and live music in Douglas
Looking for a meaningful way to spend an evening on the Isle of Man? Manx Children's Art Therapy is inviting visitors and locals alike to a special fundraising event on Thursday, 5 March at the Food Cellar in Douglas. This elegant evening combines three of life's pleasures—art, wine, and live music—all in support of a charity making a real difference in young people's lives.
Since its establishment in 2019, Manx Children's Art Therapy has been providing critical clinical art psychotherapy services to children and young people facing long-term physical or mental health challenges. Working in partnership with the Children's Centre at Wallberry Farm, the charity currently supports around 18 individuals, with a substantial waiting list demonstrating the urgent need for their services. Art therapy offers a unique, creative pathway for young people to express and process thoughts that might otherwise be difficult to articulate, providing vital support to both children and their families.
The evening promises to be engaging and interactive, featuring a live auction of artwork generously contributed by Manx artists, alongside a raffle and entertainment. Whether you're a seasoned art collector, a wine enthusiast, or simply passionate about supporting local charitable causes, this event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy an enriching evening while making a tangible impact on the Island's children's wellbeing.
