As Sign Language Week gets underway on 16 March 2026, the charity is hosting two introductory sessions to encourage Manx residents to engage with deaf community members. Lucy Buxton, Chief Executive of the Manx Deaf Society, emphasises that knowing how to say hello and ask how someone is doing creates meaningful inclusion for those with hearing loss.
