Autism in Mann leads awareness campaign with events across the Island this April
As April arrives, the Isle of Man is marking Autism Acceptance Month with a series of events designed to raise awareness and celebrate neurodiversity. At the heart of these efforts is Autism in Mann, a dedicated local charity working year-round to support autistic individuals and their families across the Island.
Autism in Mann goes far beyond awareness campaigns. The charity collaborates with other local organisations and government departments to provide meaningful support, including specialist training opportunities for both members of the community and professionals working with autistic individuals. Notably, they jointly fund a dedicated teacher who works with children with autism through the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
