Lace up your trainers! The Isle of Man is calling on families to support a fantastic charitable cause this summer with the return of the Mini Parish Fun Walk for Kids. Taking place on Saturday, 11 July at the picturesque Arboretum in St Johns, this community event promises fun, fresh air, and the chance to make a real difference for local good causes.

A Fun Day Out with Purpose

Organised by the Rotary Club of Douglas, the Mini Parish Fun Walk welcomes children aged 4 to 11 to choose their own walking distance between 1 and 2.5 kilometres. It's the perfect event for families looking to enjoy the Island's beautiful outdoors while supporting charities that matter to our community.

Last Year's Success

The event proved hugely popular in 2025, raising an impressive £30,000 for local causes. With that momentum behind them, organisers Mike Priest and Jon Joughin are urging parents and carers to get their children registered and ready to walk this July.

How to Get Involved

Signing up is straightforward—visit the official event page via the link below to register your young walkers. Whether your child is a keen hiker or just enjoys a leisurely stroll, there's a distance perfect for everyone. It's a wonderful way to introduce children to charity fundraising while enjoying quality time together on the Island.
