Fans of the Isle of Man TT will need to exercise a little more patience this Saturday, May 30, as organisers have announced a further one-hour delay to the day's Superstock race. The postponement comes as low cloud continues to affect visibility across the famous mountain course.

Racing Gets Underway at 1pm

All roads on the TT course are now expected to shut at 12pm, with racing due to commence at 1pm. The delay means spectators and visitors heading to the grandstand should plan accordingly, as the main road past the viewing area will be closed for approximately two hours during the event.

The clerk of the course confirmed the decision was made necessary due to low cloud coverage, which can impact rider safety and visibility on the demanding 37.73-mile circuit. TT organisers have been monitoring conditions throughout the morning, with the roads open car already beginning its course checks in preparation for the afternoon's racing action.

Plan Your TT Experience

If you're visiting the Island for TT race week, be sure to check official updates from TT organisers before heading to your chosen viewing spot. With the first day of racing now underway in the afternoon, it's a great opportunity to explore other parts of Douglas and the Island in the morning, or simply enjoy the unique TT festival atmosphere that takes over the nation each year.
