Feature film inspired by the TT Races returns to the Island for extended August filming
The Isle of Man is set to become a film set once again next month, as production crews return to capture stunning scenes for an ambitious feature film project inspired by the world-famous TT Races. Following a successful first phase of filming during this year's TT event in May, the production team will be back for an extended shoot throughout August to document key scenes featuring the Island's stunning landscape and the iconic Mountain Course.
To support the filming, temporary road closures will be implemented on specific sections of the TT course between Saturday 8 August and Saturday 15 August. The good news for residents and visitors is that the entire course won't be closed at any one time, minimizing disruption to everyday traffic and tourism.
The production team has been proactive in engaging with local residents, businesses, and other stakeholders who may be affected by the closures. Full details of the planned temporary road closures will be published on gov.im once all arrangements have been finalized, giving the community adequate notice and planning time.
