One Race on the Cards for Tuesday, 2 June

Following the latest update, the Mountain Road will close at 12pm, with all roads closed by 1pm. Organisers are targeting a 2pm start for the four-lap Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 1, provided weather conditions improve as forecast. The good news is that no further rain is expected this morning and into the afternoon, giving the track time to dry out before racing begins.

Evening Race Cancelled Due to Weather

The re-scheduled Superstock race, which was due to take place this evening, has been cancelled entirely. Showers are expected over the mountain section later in the day, making evening racing unsafe for competitors. A revised schedule for the remainder of the week will be issued shortly to help visitors and racing fans plan their time on the island.

Racing Expected to Resume on Sunday

Gary Thompson has indicated that Sunday, 7 June is likely to see racing resume, depending on the weather forecast over the coming days. The Clerk of the Course has emphasised that rider safety is the top priority, and races will only proceed when conditions are optimal.
