A mother's tribute walk celebrates Emily's memory while supporting mental health

This June, Caroline Kelly will lace up her walking boots to tackle one of the Isle of Man's most challenging endurance experiences—the famous Parish Walk. But this won't be just another trek across our beautiful island. Caroline is undertaking the grueling 85-mile circular route on Saturday, June 20 as a heartfelt tribute to her daughter Emily, who was just 13 when she passed away in October.

Rather than simply completing the walk, Caroline is channeling her determination into raising vital funds for Ed Space IOM, a local mental health charity dedicated to supporting young people during their most vulnerable moments. Every step of her Parish Walk journey will honor Emily's memory while helping others in our community who are struggling with their mental health.

The Parish Walk is no small feat—it's an iconic rite of passage for many Manx residents and visitors seeking an unforgettable challenge set against the backdrop of our stunning countryside. If you'd like to support Caroline's meaningful cause and learn more about her fundraising efforts, donations are now being accepted. Together, we can ensure that Emily's legacy creates real, lasting change for young people across the Isle of Man.
