Get prepared and meet Isle of Man's emergency services at the free community resilience event

By 3FM Published 7 March 2026

Following the overwhelming success of February's inaugural event, the Isle of Man is hosting another free Isle Be Ready community resilience drop-in session this month. Whether you're a visitor planning an extended stay or a resident keen to brush up on your emergency preparedness, this is your chance to learn practical safety tips directly from the Island's frontline services.

On Wednesday, March 11, head down to Arbory Parish Hall between 3pm and 7pm to chat with members from all of the Island's emergency services. They'll be on hand to offer expert, practical advice on preparing for worst-case scenarios – from natural disasters to unexpected incidents. It's a relaxed, informal setting, so you can drop in at your own pace and ask the questions that matter most to you.

Whether you're exploring our beautiful countryside, enjoying outdoor activities, or simply want to feel more confident during your time on the Island, understanding emergency preparedness is invaluable. This free event is the perfect opportunity to equip yourself with knowledge and peace of mind before your next Manx adventure.
