When the Promenade Closes and Reopens

The Department of Infrastructure has announced that a section of the promenade between Granville Street and the War Memorial will close from midday on Monday, May 25, 2026. This closure allows the funfair operators time to set up all the rides and attractions safely.

The promenade will reopen to the public at 11am on Thursday, May 28, once setup is complete and everything is ready for visitors.

Funfair Opening Times

Once the rides are up and running, the TT funfair will be open from Thursday, May 28 through Sunday, June 7, 2026. This gives visitors almost two weeks to enjoy the traditional fairground attractions that are a highlight of the TT festival calendar.
