Evening TT races postponed due to poor weather conditions on the Mountain Course
The excitement of Isle of Man TT race day came to a temporary halt on Tuesday, June 2, as organisers made the difficult decision to cancel evening racing due to challenging weather conditions. At 6pm, the Mountain Road remained closed as weather conditions deemed the course unsafe for racing. TT organisers emphasised that rider safety is paramount, and the decision reflects their commitment to protecting competitors on one of the world's most demanding racing circuits.
While the Mountain Road stays closed, officials confirmed that all other roads around the course have now reopened. The roads open car has made its way from St Ninian's and is working its way around the circuit to ensure the route is clear for general traffic.
