The Isle of Man TT is in full swing, and if you're planning to travel around the island this evening, there's good news: most roads will reopen briefly between 5pm and 6pm on Tuesday, June 2. After an exciting day of racing that saw Michael Dunlop clinch his impressive 34th TT victory in the Sportsbike race, the famous course is getting a short break before action resumes.

Road Closures and Travel Updates

The TT organising team has confirmed that the roads open car has departed St Ninian's and is making its way around the course. All roads except the Mountain Road are expected to open briefly this evening, giving residents and visitors a window to move around the island. However, expect closures to return at 6:30pm when the rescheduled Sportbike race gets underway.

All roads around the course are scheduled to reopen no later than 10:30pm, so plan your evening journeys accordingly if you're travelling during TT fortnight. This is a key consideration for tourists exploring the island or heading to restaurants and attractions away from the course.

Celebrity Spectators and Island Highlights

Adding some Hollywood glamour to the TT, Brad Pitt has made an appearance at the event and wasted no time heading to the famous Grandstand to catch the racing action. Meanwhile, a heartwarming fundraiser supporting a paralysed TT star has surpassed £130,000, showcasing the strong community spirit that defines the TT experience.
