By 3FM Published 14 April 2026

If you're planning to visit the Curraghs Wildlife Park this week, be prepared for some temporary traffic disruption. The Department of Infrastructure is carrying out essential road repairs on the western approach to this popular Island attraction, with work beginning on the TT course.

What Visitors Need to Know

Temporary traffic lights will be in operation until the morning of Wednesday, 15 April 2026. While the work is scheduled to be completed within this timeframe, the Department of Infrastructure has warned that poor weather could cause delays to the project.

The DOI has apologised for any inconvenience caused to visitors and residents using this route. If you're heading to the wildlife park or travelling along the TT course during this period, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey and following traffic control instructions carefully.

Planning Your Visit

The Curraghs Wildlife Park remains open as usual during the roadworks. For the smoothest visit, consider checking current traffic conditions before you travel, and remember that temporary diversions may be in place depending on the stage of repairs.
