Plan your journey: temporary bus stop changes this week on the Isle of Man

By 3FM Published 8 April 2026

If you're planning to travel south on the Isle of Man this week, it's worth checking where your bus will be stopping. Bus Vannin has announced temporary changes to accommodate important accessibility improvements at one of the island's busiest transport hubs.

Temporary Bus Stop Changes: What You Need to Know

From now until Thursday, April 9th, 2026, passengers heading south will need to use a different stop. Stand C at Lord Street — which normally serves routes to Ronaldsway Airport, Port Erin, and Port St Mary — will be temporarily out of service due to accessibility improvement works.

Where to Find Your Bus

During this period, all buses that would ordinarily depart from Stand C will instead operate from Stand E. This means if you're heading to the airport, the south coast, or any destination on those routes, simply make your way to Stand E to catch your service as usual. The works should be completed by the end of Thursday, after which normal service will resume.

Planning Your Journey

Whether you're a visitor exploring the island's southern attractions or a local commuting to work, it's worth allowing a little extra time to locate Stand E. The temporary change is part of Bus Vannin's ongoing efforts to improve the travel experience for all passengers across the Isle of Man.
