Plan your visit around essential TT course upgrades this spring

If you're planning a trip to the Isle of Man this spring, it's worth knowing that temporary speed restrictions will be in place around the famous TT course from this week until Friday, May 8. The Department of Infrastructure is implementing 30mph and 40mph zones on several key sections to allow for essential road maintenance and race preparation.

Visitors exploring the island should expect reduced speed limits on stretches between Creg Ny Baa Back Road and Hillberry, as well as four sections between Quarterbridge and Sulby Village. While these temporary measures may slightly affect journey times, they're a crucial part of ensuring the TT course is in perfect condition for this year's festival—one of the island's most anticipated events.

For those heading to the TT races or visiting during this period, allow extra time for journeys around the course areas and plan your sightseeing accordingly. The road works are a small price to pay for maintaining the world-class infrastructure that makes the Isle of Man's most famous motorsport event so special.
