Final qualifying day set for Friday as TT 2026 countdown reaches its climax
The TT 2026 is almost here, and Friday, 29 May, marks the final day of qualifying before the world's most iconic motorcycle racing event kicks into high gear. With two intense qualifying sessions scheduled and roads closing from mid-morning, spectators and fans are gearing up for what promises to be an action-packed day on the legendary Mountain Course.
If you're planning to be trackside or travelling around the island on Friday, plan ahead: the Mountain Road will close at 8:45am, with the rest of the TT Course following suit at 10am. All roads are expected to reopen by 5:20pm, so allow extra time for your journey.
Qualifying 4 gets underway at 10:30am, with the Superbikes and Superstocks taking their first run of the day. The Supersports and Sportbikes follow at 12:30pm. After a brief break, Qualifying 5 sees the Superbikes and Superstocks return at 2pm, with the Supersports and Sportbikes heading out again from 3:15pm.
