Iconic TT section closes for essential maintenance work next month

Fans of the legendary TT course should make a note in their calendars: a section of this world-famous racing circuit will be temporarily off-limits next month as essential roadwork takes place. From Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6, the Glen Helen section between Ballig Bridge and Lambfell will close daily from 9:30am to 3:30pm while the Department of Infrastructure carries out crucial maintenance on trees and repairs to a collapsed wall.

If you're planning a visit to experience the raw speed and drama of the TT course in person, or taking a leisurely drive along this iconic route, remember to plan your route accordingly during that week. Glen Helen remains one of the most thrilling spots to watch the bikes in action during race weeks, so understanding the course layout and access points is essential for any TT enthusiast exploring the Island.

The closures are routine but necessary work to ensure the course remains in top condition for both the world-class racers who compete here twice yearly and the thousands of visitors who travel to the Isle of Man to experience this unique motorsport destination.
