Senior TT restarts Saturday after Friday incident; full revised schedule confirmed
The Isle of Man TT Races are back on track this Saturday, 6 June, with organisers announcing a revised schedule following Friday evening's red flag incident. The highly anticipated Senior TT will now take centre stage at noon, run over four laps on the legendary Snaefell Mountain Course.
Race fans won't be short of thrills on Saturday, with the day kicking off early for competitors and spectators alike. The Mountain Road section will close from 9am, with all highways around the course shutting down at 10am to allow for final preparations.
A one-lap free practice session at 10:45am will give riders a chance to fine-tune their machines before the main event. The day concludes with the three-lap Sportbike TT Race 2 at 3pm, ensuring plenty of world-class racing for visitors lining the circuit.
Friday evening's Senior TT was halted during the second lap following a red flag incident at the 11th Milestone. The rider involved was reported as 'conscious and talking' and was airlifted to Noble's Hospital via Airmed for assessment and treatment—a testament to the world-class medical support always on standby at the TT.
Despite the setback, the show goes on. With Saturday's revised schedule now confirmed by the Clerk of the Course, the racing action is ready to resume on one of motorsport's most challenging and iconic circuits.
