The Isle of Man TT is roaring back into life this weekend as TT Race Week officially gets underway. With organisers confirming the schedule for Saturday, 30 May, motorsport fans across the island are preparing for an action-packed day on the famous Mountain Course.

Single Superstock Race Takes Centre Stage

Due to the suspension of the sidecar class, Saturday's schedule features just one race: the three-lap RL360 Superstock TT Race 1, which is set to begin at 10:45am. While this streamlined timetable offers a more relaxed pace for spectators, the racing itself promises to be thrilling.

Record-Breaking Qualifying Pace

In the final timed practice session, Dean Harrison delivered an impressive performance, breaking past the 135mph lap mark for the first time and setting a new Superstock qualifying record with a blistering pace of 135.484mph. This sets the tone for an exciting race day ahead.

What to Expect on Race Day

If you're planning to watch the action, be aware that the Mountain Section will begin closing at 9am, with a full course closure by 10am. Spectators are advised to arrive early to secure their viewing spots along the 37.73-mile course.

Travel Updates

Steam Packet has rescheduled its Manannan sailings for Monday and Tuesday (1-2 June), so visitors planning their journey to the island should check updated crossing times ahead of their trip.
