Weather disruptions force another TT schedule reshuffle as organisers adapt racing plans
The Isle of Man TT is experiencing yet another weather-related shake-up, with organisers set to release a fresh schedule update on Thursday morning. After consecutive days of cancellations due to poor weather conditions, the famous road racing event continues to adapt its timetable to keep the action on track.
Following Wednesday's complete weather cancellation, TT officials had released a revised plan for Thursday's events. The updated schedule was designed to make the most of available racing windows, with the Mountain Road closing at 9am and the main course shutting down by 10am to allow for essential preparations.
The revised day was set to feature a practice lap at 10:30am, followed by the highly anticipated three-lap Superstock race at 11:45am. However, further weather deterioration has forced another rethink, with organisers now preparing an additional schedule update expected at 7am.
If you're planning to spectate at the TT, check the official schedule updates regularly, as timing changes are ongoing. The Grandstand fan park will soon reopen after closing for maintenance, providing a comfortable viewing experience once racing resumes. While weather delays can be frustrating, they're part of the TT's unique charm—stay flexible and you'll be rewarded with world-class motorcycle racing on the iconic Mountain Course.
