Two qualifying sessions scheduled for today as TT action heats up on the Mountain Course

The Isle of Man TT is building momentum with two qualifying sessions scheduled for Wednesday, 27 May 2026. Fans and competitors alike can expect an action-packed day on the legendary Mountain Course, with machines ranging from nimble Supersport bikes to thunderous Superbikes taking to the tarmac.

Today's Qualifying Schedule: Two Sessions, Multiple Classes

The afternoon session kicks off first, with the Mountain Road closing from 11.15am and the rest of the course shutting down at 12.30pm. First machines will depart from the Grandstand at 1pm, giving spectators plenty of time to secure their viewing spots along the course.

Afternoon Session (1pm – 4.30pm)

  • 1pm – Supersport/Sportbike session
  • 2.05pm – Sidecars
  • 3pm – Superbike/Superstock machines

All roads except the mountain section will reopen by 4.30pm, giving locals a brief window before evening action resumes.

Evening Session (6.30pm – 9.30pm)

  • 6.30pm – Superbike/Superstock session
  • 7.20pm – Supersport/Sportbike classes
  • 8.15pm – Sidecars

The course will reclose at 6pm ahead of the evening session, with the full circuit expected to reopen by 9.30pm. If you're planning to explore Douglas or the surrounding areas during road closures, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy local hospitality or take in other island attractions.
